To explore tribal villages of Tai Yang, Akha Pala and Khmu tribes
Day one: Muang Khua – Paknamnoi – tribal villages – Ban Chala Kao(_/L/D).
Private transfer from Muang Khoua or Muang La to Pak Namnoi, meet your local guide at Pak Namnoi, Pak namnoi is the good place to visit where you can meet different colorful Akha ladies come get-together there, Ahka ladies carrying their vegetables, bamboo shoots to sell to local passengers pass by this place, you have good chance to take photo of them.
Drive forward to trekking point. After our belongings are packed, we start trekking to Nam Ma village ( a mixed tribal village of Akha Pala and Tai Yang). Explore village and its people. Then we continue trekking, we walk pass upland rice fields and primary forests. Arrive at Ban Chala Mai( A village of Akha Pala). Picnic lunch time at this village. Explore village( the women at this villages always wear their daily traditional colorful dress and headdress.
We continue on the way to Ban Chala Kao, on the way we walk to higher point, experience amazing landscape and endless mountains ridges. Arrive at Village of Ban Chala Kao( Akha Pala). Today we spend overnight with Akha pala family
Trekking: 4-5 hours. Moderate trekking
Day two: Ban Chala Kao – Ban Pala Mai – Ban Phouxang – Ban Nambone- Muang khua( B/L/_)
Early morning you are woke up by roosters, explore its people, see what the women working their morning routine activities.
Breakfast time and then we say good bye our family host and leave village.
Today we walk downhill to lower part of mountains, heading to other Akha village. Explore village and its people. Then we continue our trekking to Ban Phouxang( A khmu village). Picnic lunch on the way. After that we continue to Ban Nambone( a village of Tai Yang). Our private car will pick us up at this village. Drive back to Maung Khua. End the tour in Maung Khua.
Trekking: 5-6 hours. Moderate trekking
- Trek start: at 7:30 am, at Sernnaly hotel in Meuang khoua.
- Trek end: at 4:30 pm at Sernnaly hotel in Meuang khoua.
What to bring for trek: Good shoes, hat, sunglasses, long pants, your own first Aids, insect spray.
