Day01: Luang Prabang – Xayyabouly – tribal village(_/L/D)

Meet your tour guide at your hotel in Luangprabang.

Then we drive from Luangprabang to Xayabouly.

Welcome you to the land of elephants here

  • Visit interesting places in Xayabouly including: Wat Simueang,
  • Visit elephants camp( 15 km away from the town)
  • Visit evening market, good time for Dinner there.
  • Stay in Xayabouly.

Day02: Xayyabouly – jungle tribe – tribal villages – Meuang Phiang(B/L/D)

Today we drive from Xayabouly to the south of Province to Jungle tribe’s home, it takes 4-6 hours driving.

The highlight of our three days tour is to visit Jungle tribe, the tribe name” Tong Leuang tribe”

Tong Leuang tribe means yellow banana leaves tribe, this tribe live in deep jungle in National Protected Area of Nam Pouy. Their population, there are only 19 persons in total.

Their home made with Banana leaves roof, they will set up the home tent and live inside the tent they will live there until the banana leaves get yellow and they move to new place.

Learn to know their living life with your local guide by interviewing the jungle tribe’s leaders.

After that we drive back to Meuang Phiang, stay there.

Day03: Meuang Phiang – tribal villages – Xayabouly –

Luangprabang(B/L/)

Today we will drive from Meuang Phiang back to Luangprabang.

  • Sightseeing on the way
  • Visit tribal villages of Emien, Khmu, Hmong, Phrai(laomai)
  • Visit tourism site of Tat Chao waterfall, visit Tat Khacham waterfall, and interesting place on the way.
  • Arrive in Luangprabang late evening. End the tour.
